Capacity development for management, financing and administration at Copperbelt Secondary Teachers’ College and Nkrumah College of Education
The objective of this project is to enhance and upgrade the management and teaching capacity of Nkrumah College of Education and Copperbelt College of Education in the process of transition towards becoming Universities of Education. The overall objective is divided over three specific objectives:
• To enhance education management capacity at the Colleges of Education in order to support an adequate and effective transformation into degree providing Universities
• The Capacity at the Colleges has been enhanced to develop and deliver quality teacher training programmes
• To consolidate the development and use of ICT based pilot systems for administration and financial management with special focus on admission, student registration and accounting.
In addition there are cross-cutting objectives in regard to gender issues and labour market relevance.
