Teacher training for pre-school education in Ukraine
The overall aim of the project is to improve the quality of basic education (on infant level) in the Ukraine, especially on the level of pre-school education.
The specific project goal is to strengthen the current retraining system for pre-school education and basic education in theUkraineby providing a systemized course for education to infants with curricula, teaching methods and manuals disseminated to all In-service Teacher Training Institutes (ITTIs) and Pedagogical Universities. The project aims to provide a certified course which will enable ITTs to receive future financing of the Ministry of Education, and in this way ensuring the sustainability of the project. In essence the aim of the project focuses on the development of a train the trainer programme for retraining as well as training of university teachers for initial education. The course will be certified by the Ministry of Education.
